While it’s not the best organizer size-wise to put in your backpack (11.25 x 8.76 x 2.25 inches), it would make a good travel case to add in your luggage or a stay-at-home organizer.
In terms of capacity, it has:

Luxtude Compact Electronics Organizer
This organizer is two inches smaller in length (9.4 x 6.3 inches) than the Jelly Comb in the #1 spot, but it has some great features and is worth considering for sure.
For me, the smaller size is an advantage. Light weight and compact are my top features for a cable storage organizer. That way you can dip in and out quickly and find what you need without feeling you’re picking up a library of cables and cords that never end.
There’s a large mesh pocket on the side that’s perfect for a single power bank too.
If you’re planning on using this cable/cord organizer quite a bit, throughout the day, it’s water replellant so your stuff will stay dry if it gets splashed. Don’t submerge it though. It’s 0.2lb weight also make it a good choice for daily use and is really what you’re looking for.
Weight is your enemy when you’re on the go all day long.

I think you can get creative.

It’ll keep the cables neat and not tangled up.

One layer could be remotes and the other adapters. You have enough room to store multiple power banks, a tablet, wall chargers, cords, cables and more.
One unique feature of this electronics organizer is the removable padded dividers. This will let you design the layout exactly how you need it, whether you have large or small items to secure.
With it’s large capacity, you’d expect this to be large and bulky, but it only measures 10.5″ x 7.75″ x 3.5″.
While I wouldn’t recommend this for a backpack or vacation, it would be a good at-home organization option.
I was surprised to see a waterproof organizer available at this price point – sub twenty bucks. It also has shockproof nylon material to absorb impacts if it’s dropped or knocked off a table.

I wanted to show you this compact electronics organizer if you only have a few items to tidy up and organize. It can still hold a surprising amount for it’s size and would be perfect in a carry-on bag. No one likes untangling cables.

Cocoon GRID-IT Electronics Accessory Organizer
The Cocoon GRID-IT electronics accessory organizer is an awesome way to organize your small gadgets.
It’s unique and nothing on this list really comes close to it in terms of customization. What sets this apart from the other organizers I’ve shown you is that it’s made up of woven elastic straps that cover the entire interior compartment.
To secure your stuff, all you need to do is lift up one of the straps and slide it under. By having so many of the elastic straps woven together, you can always find the perfect sized one to secure your stuff.
You’re also able to fit a lot more of your accessories in the same space because they’re closer together. The elastic straps are different lengths, so you’ll always find the right sized on that keeps your stuff snugly in place.
I’d recommend this if you have several smaller items to secure – cords, charging cables, usb drives. I don’t think it would be the best design for power banks and wall plugs as they’d take up quite a bit of space on the elastic strap grid.
The GRID-IT electronics accessory organizer is a great idea and I’d be really interested to see what new products they have in the future.
We researched a lot of buyers and found that they love how versatile the organizer is, it’s sturdy and lays flat once filled. Organize Electronics Organizer Case
This electronics organizer has more of a case design and offers more protection than the pouch type organizers I showed you earlier.
I think you can organize your cables and cords a little easier with this design and everything has it’s neat place. Three compartments make separating your gear by type or make easy and it’s just under a foot long by 8-inches wide.
Padded covers add to the protection offered by this case and a waterproof nylon surface guards against splashes and rain.
You’ll love that it keeps its case design even with heavy items like bluetooth speakers. It’s also praised for using the space well.
One use that struck me was using this organizer as a “go bag”. Imagine this – you have wildfires near your home and need a way to organize all your electronics accessories in case you have to evacuate your home quickly. This organizer would work out perfect.

Maybe you’d prefer a more folder-like organizer for your electronics stuff?
This is a good idea for larger items – USB hubs, power banks, headphones (on/over ear), tablets and laptop chargers.
I’d not recommend this folder organizer for phone charging cables, adapters or USB drives. They’ll get lost at the bottom and be a pain in the butt to find every time.

Sunnis Waterproof Electronics Organizer Bag
I love these designs, they pack so much into a compact space and all zip up into a neat pouch.
This one comes with 5 colored cable ties – a nice touch – they’ll help keep your cords neat and held together.
There’s enough room for a powerbank, 4-5 cables/chargers and a few USB drives or SD cards. You probably don’t want to get this pouch if you’re planning on using it every day and tossing it in your backpack, It’s not super heavy duty and won’t give the best protection. For that, stick to a smaller case like design, they hold up better.
This is a good electronics organizer for occasional use when you need to charge something up. This is a good fit for my needs, my current electronics organizer is big, bulky and heavy. I need something like this to keep my more used cords and adapters. The other hefty power banks can stay in the bigger organizer as I only really use them very infrequently.

Consider These Questions Before You Buy An Electronics Organizer
How you plan to use the organizer plays a big part in which one would be the best fit for you. Is weight important? If you’re on the move all day, it for sure is. Is protection and durability a must-have?
You’ll have this organizer for a while and will rely on it to keep your valued electronics accessories safe and neat. Take a minute to look over the thoughts below so you make a purchase you’re still happy with 12 months from now.
Do you have a lot of cords and wires?
Electronics cord and accessory organizers come in a lot of different sizes. Be sure to buy one that can accommodate all your existing items and any future ones you might be planning on getting. I’d always advise buying a cord/accessory organizer that is just a bit bigger than you need so you have a bit of room to grow.
Generally electronics cable/accessory organizers are pretty inexpensive, so you can always buy another if you need to. I like to keep all my stuff together, though.
Do you have any power banks you’d like to keep with your cords?
Power banks take up much more room than cables and they’re heavier. To make things easier to handle, I’d put only one power bank with your cord/accessories organizer so you can use it as needed. If you have others – like me – find a separate bag or case for them.
Most electronics organizers can accommodate one power bank without much fuss, but any more and it becomes bulky and a pain in the butt to move around or toss in your backpack.
I’ve been able to get a couple of power banks sent to me for review. They’re old now and aren’t especially amazing in terms of capacity, but they’re still useful. I’ll keep one with my on-hand electronics organizer and the rest can go in another organizer if the power goes out or I need to take another power bank with me.
Now, if you really want to make a super electronics accessory case, you can by all means go for it and pick up a beast like this. You can put pretty much everything in it, including a tablet, however, It’s definitely not the most portable option, which brings me to the next tip.
How often will you need to take the electronics organizer with you and be mobile?
If you’re packing your backpack, bag or purse for your workday or trip, it should be light and easy to carry with you all day long, or be compact enough for it to not take up too much room.
Thinking about it, it’s rare that I’ll need an accessory (other than headphones) while out of my home and when I do need one, I know about it in advance. If it’s an especially long day, I’ll take the power bank with me and charger cable. I don’t need the entire accessory toolbox.
Also, most of the time I dip into my cord/wire/cable mess of a folder just so I can find the right cable to charge something with. Charging happens most of the time when I’m at home – iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch all have all-day batteries – so going lightweight and compact isn’t my number one priority. Organization is.
Does the organizer need to be waterproof?
A 10 minute downpour from a passing thunderstorm can ruin your electronics if they’re in your backpack or bag and not protected.
Fortunately, you can pick up waterproof electronics cable/cord organizers that will protect it’s contents from water. I don’t expect any of the waterproof options to be 100% sealed against water – as in you can dive with it and it’ll come up dry – more like it’ll stay dry in rain or snow. That’s about as far as I’d trust them in terms of seal.
If there’s something you carry in your backpack that absolutely must stay dry, there are far better options.
Where will you keep the organizer when you don’t need it?
The hassle starts before I even begin untangling the mess of cables inside the folder.
After having to lug my GoodWill National Guard folder out from the bottom drawer on my desk every time I needed a 5″ cable to charge my AirPods Pro, I have to find an organizer that is small and compact, but has enough loops/bands to hold my most used cables and a powerbank.
So essentially it has to be big and small at the same time.
If you opt to get the monster cable/cord organizer case, plan on it staying in one spot and you going to it when you need to get something from it.
If you are needing to access it frequently, it could get old.
Having a smaller cable/cord organizer allows you to keep it with you in the room that you use it the most.
Mine is in my office and I have a spot I can reach it easily when I’m at my desk. I don’t want to have to grab the thing with two hands because it’s so awkward and heavy full of stuff.
Do you need a pouch, bag or case?
In terms of size, the smallest cable/cord organizers are usually pouches, in the middle are bags and the largest organizers are almost always cases.
Pouches give you the ability to organize all your cables and cords, but generally don’t have enough room for power banks. They are compact, though and will take up the minimum amount of space needed to keep things organized.
Bags will hold cables/cords and power banks, but they don’t have much organization aside from 2-3 pockets.
Cases give you the best of both worlds, plenty of pockets, loops and compartments and space for power banks. They’re bulkier than bags or pouches and more rigid, so they’ll take up more space.
Think about how many times you’ll need to access and use your electronics cord/cable organizer. If you’re taking it with you for safety and a backup incase you need to charge up in the day, will you need to use it daily? Maybe it’s more like once a week there’s a particularly busy day where you need to recharge your iPhone or iPad. You can use a pouch setup because it takes up minimal space, but still makes it easy to pick out the right cable and get your stuff charged up.
The pouch won’t carry the power bank, so something to think about. Maybe a case setup would be better? That way the power bank and charging cable can be together.
