Does the iPhone 12 Have Pro Motion?
The iPhone 12 does not have Pro Motion. The iPhone 12 was the last iPhone that did not come with a pro motion display.
Apple has been installing 120Hz Pro Motion screens on iPhones for a few years now, but when did they begin and what was the last iPhone that used a standard 60hz display
These are the iPhone that do have Pro Motion displays:
- iPhone 13 Mini
- iPhone 13 Pro
- iPhone 13 Max
- iPhone 14 Pro
- iPhone 14 Max
To enable pro motion, you don’t really have to do anything. Your iPhone will adjust its refresh rate (how many times the screen updates per second) depending on what you’re looking at. If you’re writing a text message, your refresh rate will be lowered to save battery for example.
If you’re scrolling down web pages though, the Pro Motion display will be activated and the scrolling animation will look buttery smooth.
